In terms of my working personality, you can’t get much more accurate than my video sizzle reel. A self-taught creative specializing in maximizing limited resources, my technical experience ranges from podcast production (Halal Money Matters, Digging for Idols) to creative filmmaking (multiple festival selections and a What’s Up! Magazine Award for Best Music Video), media-based investor education, and fundraising efforts for non-profits.
My leadership experience includes running a team of relief workers with the Washington Conservation Corps in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, co-founding and organizing the DIY community film event Trailer Wars for seven years, and serving as President of the Parent Teacher Organization at my daughter’s elementary school. Across all of my experiences, I lead and collaborate with emotional intelligence and a strategic mindset.
I hold a BAS in Applied Business Management from Whatcom Community College and an M.A. in Strategic Communication from Washington State University.
